L.B. even debuted a much-less pudgy bod as he dipped in and out of the ocean. Lance rocked board shorts and aviators as he posed with a newlywed lesbian couple, offering them his congrats.

Justin Timberlake Admits LeBron James Man Crush On ESPN
www.rollingstone.com
4.23.09
Justin Timberlake’s promotional blitz for his MTV reality show The Phone brought him to the Los Angeles studios of ESPN’s Sportcenter, where JT answered 10 questions pertaining to, surprise, sports. While Timberlake doesn’t boast a fraction of the sports knowledge that ESPN blogger and “Best Rapper Alive” Lil Wayne has, Justin seems to be an expert on all things Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, who Timberlake admits he has a man crush on.
“He just lights me up,” JT says of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ — and hopefully New York Knick in 2010-11, fingers crossed — all-star. As for the epic battle of “Quarterback, cornerback or ‘Sexyback’?,” Timberlake picks cornerback. “Cornerback, ‘the thief,’ that’s what I want to play,” he said. As Timberlake currently has no plans to record a new album, he might as well start practicing with all the free time on his hands.

Justin Timberlake Jokes About Making Out With Jessica Biel at Lakers Game
www.usmagazine.com4.23.09
Justin Timberlake is kissing and telling about his make-out session with Jessica Biel at Tuesday's Lakers game.
"We're not actually that much of exhibitionists in front of 18,000 people," Timberlake said on Wednesday's Jimmy Kimmel Live!
But they couldn't control themselves when the "Kiss Me Cam" came out.
"They were playing Sonny & Cher's 'I Got You Babe,'" Timberlake explained. "And we were watching all these sort of elderly people kiss -- it got kind of weird there for a second, I'm not going to lie -- but it was really endearing."
"And then they cut to Dustin Hoffman and his wife, and he planted an open mouth kiss on her that was, like, award-winning in its own way," he continued.
Then, Timberlake said, "they cut to us, and I was not to be undone. So I mounted my girlfriend in front of 18,000 people."
Looking back, "That was one of those moments where I should have made a better decision," he said.
Kimmel agreed: "Keep that in the motel," he cracked.

Las Vegas PGA Tour Host Justin Timberlake to Challenge U.S. Open Golf Course Again
www.golflasvegasnow.com4.23.09
Justin Timberlake is entering year two of a five-year deal to host Las Vegas' PGA Tour event, now dubbed the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open that will be played October 15-18, at Las Vegas golf course TPC Summerlin. And now word comes that JT is scheduled to tee it up again in the Golf Digest U.S. Open Challenge. Timberlake is to be joined in the 2009 rendition by Michael Jordan, Ben Roethlisberger and one everyday golfer who will to be determined by popular vote. Timberlake is pictured, left, with '08 Vegas champ Marc Turnesa.
The event is played the week before the U.S. Open on the open course, this year Bethpage Black in New York, and allows three celebrities and one everyday player the chance to break 100 under the difficult conditions and glare of the spotlight and cameras. The round will be taped and then aired on NBC on June 21 prior to the final round of the U.S. Open. Obviously Timberlake now has strong ties to Las Vegas due to his PGA Tour hosting duties, but his fellow celebrities also have some ties to Las Vegas golf.
Jordan plays a lot of golf in the city, and made worldwide news during the 1993 NBA All Star break when he flew from the host city, Salt Lake City, Utah, to Las Vegas to play golf at Shadow Creek and also gamble. Jordan was fined by the NBA because he missed some official events, but he ended up spending a nice day at Tom Fazio's gem. Roethlisberger, the two-time Super Bowl champ, was reportedly dating Las Vegas' own LPGA Tour star Natalie Gulbis for a time several years ago, but now the two are said to be just good friends.
Gulbis lives and plays on the fairways of the resort Reflection Bay Golf Club at Lake Las Vegas Resort. Reflection Bay is a former host of the Wendy's 3-Tour Challenge and is a luscious Jack Nicklaus design that features five holes on the shores of Lake Las Vegas. You can click now for more information about Reflection Bay Golf Club or to reserve your official Las Vegas golf tee times or Las Vegas golf packages at Lake Las Vegas Resort. Or click now to view the special Las Vegas golf rates and deals available at Reflection Bay Golf Club.
All three celebrities have a single-digit Handicap and have been included in previous Golf Digest rankings of athletes and musicians. In the 2007 list of the top athlete-golfers, Jordan ranked T-30 with a Handicap of 1.2 and Roethlisberger ranked T-121 with a Handicap of 7. Timberlake, who now works with Las Vegas' Butch Harmon on his swing, was ranked T-15 with a Handicap of 6 in Golf Digest’s 2008 “Top 100 in Music” list. Timberlake played in the 2008 Golf Digest U.S. Open Challenge and shot 98 at Torrey Pines, but finished strong and broke the goal number.
Image Harmon, who is ranked No.1 in Golf Digest’s “America’s 50 Greatest Teachers” list, will once again caddie for Timberlake. Fred Couples, the 15-time PGA TOUR winner and 1992 Masters champion, will caddie for Jordan. Roethlisberger’s caddie will be announced at a later date. Gulbis anyone?
Voting for the amateur participant runs through April 30th at www.gdopencontest.com. The four finalists are: Philippe de Kerillis (Erdenheim, PA), Larry Giebelhausen (Scottsdale, AZ), Dale Matthews (McLean, VA) and Bob Ray (Arnold, MD). Voters can make one selection each day and are automatically entered for the chance to win daily prizes and multiple grand prizes, including two trips to the 2010 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach Golf Links.

Good news for anyone eagerly anticipating the super-human offspring of Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake: It may still happen!

Earth Day in Hollywood - Eco-Conscious Celebrities Will Savor Earth Day 2009 With Additive-Free Spic
www.usprwire.com4.19.09
Earth Day presents an opportunity for individuals the world over to consider how we treat our planet. Environmentally conscious celebrities such as Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake, Barbra Streisand, Leonardo DiCaprio, Melissa Ethridge, Ellen DeGeneres, George Clooney and Sting, will be able to extend their considerations to healthy and flavorful foods with salt-free and additive-free spices from Awaken Savor® that enable food's natural flavors to shine. Awaken Savor spice blends were exclusively selected by Distinctive Assets for inclusion in their “Earth Day in Hollywood” gift baskets to be distributed to celebrities who make a difference on April 22, Earth Day 2009.
Many retail spice blends available today include substantial amounts of salt and other additives as fillers or flavor “enhancers”. Instead of making food taste better, these additives interfere with taste and complicate recipes. Beyond their impact on flavor, many people avoid such additives for health reasons. According to Awaken Savor, Inc. CEO Alicja Lombard, “our spice blends and salad mixes rely on over 100 individual spices to provide multiple layers of flavor that enhance food's natural flavors.”
Awaken Savor, Inc. offers products in five lines, including their “Awaken Savor Signature Blends”, “American Blends,” “Five-Spice Blends,” “World Blends,” and “Salad Dressing Blends.” All spice blends are salt-free, MSG-free, gluten-free, and preservative-free. Product sizes include a reusable tin of approximately 3½ ounces, as well as pouches in 1 ounce (sampler) and 1 pound (bulk) sizes. On Earth Day and every day, refill pouches are available to reduce packaging consumption.
The company produces a wide range of salt-free, MSG-free, gluten-free, and preservative-free spice blends and salad mixes to encourage celebrities, foodies, and everyday cooks to explore the flavors of the world's cuisines in their own cooking. The company's spice blends are special—tastes that can only be achieved with carefully chosen combinations of spices and herbs.

Justin Timberlake picks up ‘Phone’ for game show
www.newsok.com4.20.09
If Justin Timberlake initiated a phone call, lots of people would take it.
Be forewarned, though: Danger might be attached. But so might $50,000.
The Grammy- and Emmy-winning music superstar is executive producer of "The Phone,” an elaborate MTV game show debuting at 9 p.m. Tuesday. Making extensive use of the given episode’s location (Seattle, in the case of the premiere), the show pits two two-person teams — guided by an Irish-accented "Operator” over cell phones — against each other in trying to solve the week’s mystery and win the top cash prize.
The result thrusts ordinary people into extraordinary adventures encompassing explosions, an excursion into a ship’s flooding hold and a trek to the edge of Seattle’s FremantleMedia North America, which makes "American Idol” for Fox, also is involved in holding "The Phone.”
Timberlake says the show’s "Bourne Identity”-like approach was a big lure for him. "We’ve used certain films I’m a big fan of” as models for the series, he confirms, "not just the ‘Bourne’ trilogy, but also ‘Enemy of the State’ and (director) David Fincher’s ‘The Game.’ I love stories like that, where the audience can figure things out as the protagonist does.
"We’ve really treated these contestants more like characters,” Timberlake said. "It’s a game show with high energy and a fast pace, but it’s suspenseful, as well. A lot of things happen in this show. We don’t tell these people exactly what they’re going to get into when they audition, because we obviously don’t want them to know.”
Indeed, while potential players of "The Phone” must apply in advance, they don’t know if or when they’ll receive the call to get into the game.
"That’s what makes the show great,” Timberlake says. "All of this, the actual shooting of it, happens in a day or two. Otherwise, you wouldn’t get the same kind of reaction when a car explodes near someone. If you watch a show like ‘The Amazing Race,’ I think the contestants know they’re on camera a lot more than our contestants. In certain setups, they don’t know we’re shooting them.”
That makes the staging of "The Phone” challenging, and it also keeps Timberlake from being a physical presence in the series. "I tend to attract attention,” he says with a laugh, "but I like the idea that the viewer is almost a voyeur here. You feel like you’re actually spying on these people, and I think that adds to the mystique. You want them in situations so intense, they forget they’re being recorded.”

The three celebrities will play with one amateur golfer who will be determined by online voting.
The foursome will play the Black Course at Bethpage State Park, the site of the 2009 U.S. Open, and attempt to break a score of 100. The 18-hole round will be taped by NBC Sports and air on Sunday, June 21st from 12:00pm -- 1:30pm ET, immediately prior to the final-round broadcast of the U.S. Open.
All three celebrities have a single-digit Handicap and have been included in previous Golf Digest rankings of athletes and musicians. In the December 2008 issue, Golf Digest asked readers to submit a six-word statement on why they thought they could break 100 at Bethpage Black. The four finalists were narrowed down from 73,581 entries.

Justin, Lupe Fiasco, & Kenna To Climb Mt. Kilimanjaro
MTV.com4.14.09
Justin Timberlake, rapper Lupe Fiasco and singer Kenna are teaming up to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa, in an effort to raise awareness for the worldwide water crisis.
"My dad almost died as a child from waterborne diseases in Ethiopia, and he had talked to me about digging a well there, and I thought, 'I have too many friends who would be concerned with the subject of clean water. Maybe I can help out,' " Kenna told Elle magazine in a recent interview.
When asked about his motivation to hike up the 19,000-foot peak, Lupe Fiasco joked, "Part of the motivation is beating Kenna to the top. Sabotaging his tent, taking the lining out of his coat, lacing it with ants or something like that."
Kenna said there's a bit of friendly competition with Timberlake when it comes to training for the mission. "I refuse to work out with him, because he's way fitter than I am," Kenna told Elle. "I'm training in secret."
Timberlake is training like a pro, according to GQ. "I've been training four times a week to get my VO2 [oxygen consumption] levels up to expand my lungs," he told the magazine. "We'll climb for a week straight, carrying 30 pounds on our backs. It's going to be intense, but it's going to be so rewarding. Plus, we're going to be ready for it."
The mission will bring the three artists to the highest point in Africa, which boasts breathtaking views and three inactive volcanic cones. Though the climb is popular among tourists, the altitude and low temperature make this a difficult and dangerous trek. Those who make the climb typically suffer from shortness of breath, headaches and discomfort due to the limited amount of breathable oxygen. The three are set to embark on their journey this fall.
