Lance Bass and his new boy-toy, model Gustavo Marzolla, having one helluva posh dinner date at Asia de Cuba at the Mondrian Hotel. The pretty pair canoodled all through the meal—googly eyes, footsies, ya know, the works. Lancy and his lad then headed over to Skybar for some liquid desert, drinking tropical concoctions at the SKYY Infusions Pineapple launch party.

Justin Timberlake Gets an Ear-Licking in New Ciara Video
people.com3.23.09
The sexed-up video for Ciara's first single "Love, Sex, Magic" from her third album Fantasy Ride, out May 5th, debuted Monday on her Web site. Last seen grinding against Chris Brown during their performance at the 2008 BET Awards, Ciara now gets a little help from Justin Timberlake in the Diane Martel-directed video.
Timberlake, who co-wrote the track, makes a cameo with the R&B diva, who rocks an array of leotards and stilettos. He traces her neck with his lips before she seductively licks his ear and performs a smoothly choreographed lap dance. "It was sooo much fun," says Ciara.

Amid Timberlake flap, PR firm cuts casino ties
www.indystar.com3.18.09
Justin Timberlake in Shelbyville? It seemed too good to be true -- and evidently it was.
A day after the pop star's publicist said Timberlake never agreed to attend Friday's ribbon-cutting ceremony for Indiana Live! Casino, the only business that's talking is the casino's local public relations firm.
Its message: We quit.
The reason: It can't even get its yearlong client on the phone.
State roundup: Click here for the latest headlines from around Indiana.
After the no-show involving actor and singer Justin Timberlake, Indianapolis-based Coles Marketing said it no longer would represent the casino because its officials would not return Coles' calls.
"We simply won't continue working with a client with whom we cannot communicate when it is our job to communicate for and with them," said President Barbara Coles, adding that she was just as surprised as anyone when Timberlake and actress Jessica Biel were no-shows.
Timberlake's publicist, however, told The Star on Monday night that the entertainer never made plans to attend opening festivities, which drew 8,000 customers to the casino. She did not elaborate.
So was it a hoax to draw large crowds to the opening? The mayor of Shelbyville says no.
"I guarantee it was not a (hoax). They thought he was going to be there," Mayor Scott Furgeson said. The mayor said David Cordish, president of Baltimore-based Cordish Cos., which runs the casino, is a friend of Timberlake's.
The casino hired 13 Shelbyville police officers to deal with the crowds the opening -- and Timberlake's supposed appearance -- would bring.

Justin Timberlake To Launch a New Tequila
www.people.com3.18.09
Justin Timberlake has something new to toast: The singer and budding businessman is launching a new brand of tequila named 901.
In development for more than two years, the liquor will hit store shelves in early May in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and St. Louis.
The reason behind the numeric name? “901 is that time of night when your evening is ending, but your night is just beginning. It is also a subtle nod to his hometown,” says the singer's spokesperson, referring to the area code for Memphis, where Timberlake grew up.
The new venture is the latest addition to Timberlake’s growing business portfolio, which includes the fashion line William Rast and the music label Tennman.

Lance Bass Is Looking for Love
www.eonline.com3.11.09
Lance Bass may be a successful matchmaker for his pals, but unfortunately he's having trouble working the same magic when it comes to his own love life.
"I'm never really good with matching myself, but I'm dead-on with matching my friends," Bass, 29, told us the other day at the John Varvatos 7th Annual Stuart House Benefit. "I'm always trying to play matchmaker."
Case in point?
His 24-year-old Dancing With the Stars pal Cheryl Burke.
Matchmaker Lance set Burke up with her new beau, 21-year-old Abercrombie & Fitch model Maxwell Zagorski.
"I never really plan anything," Bass said. "It's just one of those spur-of-the-moment things, like, Oh, I think they would be good for each other. I never like to force anything."
Bass' dating history includes Amazing Race winner Reichen Lehmkuhl, model Pedro Andrade and, most recently, personal trainer Sebastian Leal.
For the record, Bass is looking for someone with whom to start a family. "I think everyone dreams of that nice romantic wedding,"he has told us. "And I love kids. I want to adopt and I want to have my own."
Meanwhile, he offers up some simple advice for the new batch of contestants on Dancing With the Stars. "Get as much sleep as you can," said Bass, who waltzed his way into third place last season. "And get some Epsom salts, because you're going to need it."

Justin Timberlake's new MTV series debuts April 21: Will you watch?
popwatch.ew.com3.4.09
My answer? Um...yes. If Justin Timberlake produced a 12-part series centered around corn husking, I would watch. A Timberlake-produced documentary on erasers? Sign me up! Justin producing a reality show about transgender veterinarians? Let me set my TiVo! Frankly, I'm a sucker for anything that JT is involved in (although Black Snake Moan kinda made me uncomfortable). So the news that the singer and MTV would be teaming up for The Phone, a reality competition in which people are set out on an adventure to win $50,000, made me quite happy. Timberlake showed a brief clip of the show when he was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and it looked intriguing -- kinda like a reality version of the 1997 Michael Douglas thriller, The Game. MTV announced yesterday that the series premieres on April 21 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Will you tune in for The Phone, PopWatchers?

JC Chasez Says Yes to More Dance Crew, But What About Dancing?
www.tvguide.com3.5.09
Between writing and acting, JC Chasez is a busy man these days. But on Thursday, he'll put it all on pause to be front and center to crown the new champions of Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew on the live Season 3 finale (10 pm/ET on MTV). It's down to the all-female Beat Freaks and the momentum-gaining Quest Crew. Who does the former 'N Sync-er want to win? Read below to find out, and to get the scoop on Season 4, his high-flying new movie and if he'll ever follow in Joey Fatone and Lance Bass' footsteps on Dancing with the Stars.
TVGuide.com: Are you ready for the finale?
Chasez: I am ready. It's gonna be a good show. Aside from whoever the winning group is — they're gonna get to do their championship performance — we're bringing the entire cast back from Season 3 and we're pairing some of the groups up together to put on some performances.
TVGuide.com: Who do you want to win?
Chasez: You know, it's not really my place to say who should win because I think both of these groups are really, really talented. I think America got it right as far as who should be in the top 2 this season and either one deserves to win.
TVGuide.com: It seems like Beat Freaks were more consistent over the whole season, but Quest Crew really stepped it up over the past few weeks.
Chasez: You would say consistent, but [Beat Freaks] didn't show up at the last show. I don't think Quest Crew had too many bad shows — they might've missed a step in one show, but it was in the middle of the season and Beat Freaks missed their one show at the end of the season. So I'd really put them on an even playing field. It's just a matter of what was the most memorable.
TVGuide.com: What's more important: consistency in the middle of the season, or stepping up at the end?
Chasez: You know, I dunno. [Laughs] I always like to leave a lasting impression. I think the last thing that people see is usually the thing that's closest in their minds. With that being said, I feel like Beat Freaks had some really memorable performances with the magic special that we did and when they were robots. They might also have a bit of an advantage because we haven't seen a girl group win and this group, out of any girl group we've seen on the show so far, definitely deserves to win.
TVGuide.com: Have you heard from fans about who they want to win?
Chasez: It all depends on who you ask. I asked one person and he was like, "I love the Beat Freaks. I love the robot thing." Then I spoke to somebody two days ago and he was like, "Dude, I wanna get 'Quest' tattooed on my chest!" [Laughs] I was like, "Uh ...alright, sure." ... Quest Crew was freakishly good that last show. They were playing in the fourth quarter and throwing touchdowns. The hip-hop decathlon was amazing.
TVGuide.com: Is there going to be a Season 4?
Chasez: I think we're gonna find that out [tonight]. I hope so. Everything's last minute. When you're working on a show, you're not really concentrating on the next season. You still have to finish the one you're doing. I think Season 1 and Season 2 [aired back-to-back] too quickly, but it's really up to MTV and what the audience wants.
TVGuide.com: But you're keeping busy. You shot a movie, Kerosene Cowboys, in Russia, right?
Chasez: Yup. I shot part of it in Russia and part of it in Nevada. It was great fun. It was a challenge. The travel for one was a challenge.
TVGuide.com: But you've toured the world.
Chasez: [Laughs] Yeah, but flying to Russia twice a week is tough. I would have to fly there, work for four days, fly back, work on Dance Crew for one or two days, fly back to Russia. And that's a 24-hour trip. So it's a lot of flying!
TVGuide.com: And you play a pilot.
Chasez: Yeah! [Laughs] I play a fighter pilot. I'm not sitting in the back sweeping; I'm in a cockpit with all the adrenaline and shooting the bad guys down. I would say we haven't seen a good fighter pilot movie in a few years. I think it's a fresh idea now. The modern technology to show some of these aerial shots and some of the ways you can shoot it now — we're gonna be able to show and do things that haven't been done before. We were shooting on a base no American had set foot on before. It was a wonderful experience.
TVGuide.com: Is "Space Cowboys" going to be on the soundtrack?
Chasez: [Laughs] No, no, no. That's an old tune now! We gotta do something new.
TVGuide.com: The song's coming up on 10 years. You can do an anniversary update — "Kerosene Cowboys."
Chasez: [Laughs] Nah. This animal would live and breathe on its own. I'm not looking to remake anything to do this.
TVGuide.com: Are you planning on acting more? You've guested on a few shows already.
Chasez: I think it's just gotta be the right project. Whatever I find inspiring, I'll become passionate about and I'll work hard to do my best.
TVGuide.com: And you're still writing music?
Chasez: Yeah, I'm always writing tunes. I have been in the studio. I'm actually working with some newer artists now for some different labels. I would say there will be some releases [by other artists] this year that I will have worked on.
TVGuide.com: I half-expected you to be in the Dancing with the Stars cast this season, just to keep up with the trend. Would you ever do it?
Chasez: [Laughs] No. That experience was for those guys. I'm not trying to remake someone else's experience. And I think we've seen enough of the 'N Sync guys on there. [Laughs] Been there, done that! We're not all gonna go on there. That's ridiculous!
